A concerned friend called police because he thought his buddy likes dead bodies a little too much.

According to a report filed with the Murfreesboro Police Department, the complainant said a 19-year-old Murfreesboro man "has been talking with him about death and funerals."

While this isn't terribly odd (considering the wages of life are death) but when paired with a few more facts it gets even weirder.

First, the young man had worked at a local funeral home and was fired for "inappropriately touching the corpse in a casket."

Then the young man also had a job at a local nursing home and was fired after a coworker complained about him taking pictures of a patient in a casket.

The complainant also said the young man told him he would kill animals when he was younger "so he could have funerals for them," the report said.

"Complainant just thought this was totally weird and bizarre behavior," the report said.

But the young man's behavior becomes even more concerning, the complainant said.

"Now (the young man) has a new older friend in his neighborhood and he is now her power of attorney," the report said. He has also taken her to a local funeral home to help make her final arrangements.

Remember: See something, say something.
