In an attempt to never get a good recommendation, a Murfreesboro man threatened to have sex with his boss's wife after he was fired.

On July 13, Murfreesboro Police Officers were called to a local tree service after the man made the alleged threats to his former employer.

The complainant told police that when he fired the employee, he "became angry and 'made a scene of things,'" an incident report said.

"He then demanded his paycheck and said he would go by (the boss's) house and have sex with his wife if he didn't get his money," the report said.

The boss then told the employee "he would shoot him if he tried such things." He told the employee he'd get his check when they were issued the next week.

He also reported that the employee followed him home.

When questioned by the police, the employee denied any and all allegations but reported that his former boss had threatened to kill him.

Both were advised to stay away from each other.

I wonder if he'll list the job on his resume?

Man threatens people, falls asleep with crowbar

MPD arrested Kevin V. Wade, 49, homeless, for public intoxication around 9:15 p.m. July 14 after witnesses reported he was threatening people at a fast-food taco joint.

Wade was reportedly "armed with a crowbar, threatening vehicles and people," according to an arrest report.

When officers arrived, Wade was "laying down, attempting to go to sleep with the crowbar next to him," the report said.

Officers reported Wade smelled of alcohol and a consent search found two fifths of whiskey--one empty, one half-empty.

Wade was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center where he remains of $250 bond.
