Murfreesboro is accepting entries into its 72nd annual Closed Tennis Championship Tournament

The Murfreesboro City Closed Tennis Championship is now accepting entries for its annual tournament which will be held Saturday, Sept. 15-18 at the Adams Tennis Complex (ATC) in Old Fort Park.

“This is one of the longest-running events in the City of Murfreesboro,” said Cayce Neal, ATC Facility Coordinator. “It’s exciting to see multiple generations participating.”

To be eligible, participants must be current or former residents of Rutherford County, including MTSU students who are currently enrolled. Also eligible are current members of the Adams Tennis Complex or anyone who participates in Murfreesboro tennis leagues.

The entry fee is $20 per singles application and $40 per doubles team. Entries must be received no later than 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10 at the Adams Tennis Complex, 925 Golf Lane, in Murfreesboro (37129).
