Ten days after she was reported missing, Molly Spies, the 17-year-old Oakland High School student, turned herself into Murfreesboro Police Saturday morning, March 17.

"Her parents have been reunited with her and have taken her to be evaluated medically. She is safe," said Officer Amy Norville, MPD spokeswoman.

Spies was reported missing after last being seen March 7 at Just Love Coffee on MTCS Boulevard.

MPD asked for the public's help in locating her March 13 because of medical problems including a heart condition that requires medication. She did not have the medication with her. 

"Thanks to everyone for the shares and assistance in getting this information out," Norville said.
