Photos of stickers (like the one above) from a white supremacist group have been found around MTSU campus and downtown Murfreesboro this week.

MTSU President Sidney McPhee addressed the issue in an email to the university's community, The Daily News Journal reported.

"We are aware and are closely monitoring, the posting of unauthorized materials on our campus by ... a white supremacist group. Some of these posts have been done specifically to deface materials related to our campus celebration of Black History Month; others have been anti-Semitic … There is no place here for hateful rhetoric, displays or actions that demean any member of the MTSU family. While we will respect the right of free speech when exercised within the policies of the University, we will also continue to take all appropriate action to make our campus as safe and inclusive as possible," McPhee wrote.

The stickers were tagged with the logo from "Vanguard America." According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Vanguard America is a neo-nazi, white supremacist group.

Dawn White supports a border wall

Tennessee State Senate candidate and current state representative Dawn White has come out in support of Trump's plan to build that wall.

White, who is running against Ernest Burgess in the Republican primary for the seat now held by Bill Ketron, filed a resolution in the state House "expressing 'strong support' for the president’s proposal to build a secure border wall and urge Congress to take immediate action to fund its construction," the Murfreesboro Post reported.

In the resolution, she cites the need for border security and that the wall is needed to "Make America Great Again."

The resolution comes shortly after White met with members of the Trump administration in Washington DC.
