Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation's Boat Day was held Saturday at the Manson Pike Trailhead of the Murfreesboro Greenway System.

Kayaks, canoes and paddle boads were provided for those in attendance to experience. After being fitted for their PFD’s, boating basics, correct paddling strokes and boat safety was explained before taking to the water. The event was free to the public.
