Tennessee Democratic Party Chair race is heating up and coming to Rutherford County.

In the aftermath of a Blue Wave that failed to reach Tennessee's political shores, Tennessee Democratic Party Chair Mary Mancini is being challenged by former 4th District congressional candidate Christopher Hale, and Williamson County Democratic Party Chair Holly McCall.

Tennessee Democratic Party State Executive Committee Representatives for Senate District 13, Caroline Ford-McGee and Brandon Thomas, would like to invite the general public to a candidate forum for the Tennessee Democratic Party Chair race. 

Mary Mancini, Hale and McCall will have a chance to lay out their vision for the future of the Tennessee Democratic Party and will answer questions from the community. Questions can be submitted at here. 

The forum will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 2 at the Smyrna Assembly Hall, 110 Front St. in Smyrna.
