MTSU Blue Raiders tied the UTSA Roadrunners

In their first Conference USA match-up of the season, Middle Tennessee tied the UTSA Roadrunners, 2-2.

The first half was plagued with missed opportunities for both teams as the half would end scoreless. Ten minutes into the second half Middle Tennessee would break the deadlock after Maddison Falter connected from long range.

UTSA countered scoring on a penalty kick not long after. MTSU would soon regain the lead after some nice team play from Sam DeBien and Hannah Tillett resulted in a goal, however, the Roadrunners would tie it back up just one minute later.

Regulation would end with the score being 2-2, forcing the two teams into overtime. After a feisty 20 minutes of extra time, neither team could find the back for MT's first tie in conference play since Oct. 25, 2015 against LA Tech (0-0).

The Raiders are now 5-2-1, 0-0-1 on the year while UTSA is 4-3-1, 0-0-1.
