Tennessee reaches 1M fully vaccinated

After reading the first few paragraphs I was not shocked to find this was written by Ms Willard. Here’s the deal folks, none of these vaccines are approved by the FDA. All are in emergency use authorization. That means you or anyone else lining up to take the jab, YOU are the guinea pig. And if something goes wrong you can’t sue the vaccine manufacturers. This comment will most definitely be deleted but fact check it while it’s still up. Everything I’ve said is TRUE. Don’t do it. You have a larger risk of vaccine adverse reactions and or injury than covid complications.
It's bad enough that the government tried to make us sheeple and now they want to make us guinea pigs. No thanks, not being part of the government farm.
Bororesident, I'm not going to delete your comment even if I disagree with the sentiment behind it. You are correct. The vaccines are in use with an emergency authorization. I, for one, am happy to be a guinea pig if it means people like you are more protected from the virus. Hopefully the spread will be slowed (and possibly stopped one day) with more people vaccinated. You may think I'm stupid for thinking of others. I disagree hardily. I've always believed that if someone has to take one for the team, it might as well be me.
And yet TN is in the five lowest states out of 50 in getting folks vaccinated!?
I am so appreciative of having the vaccines. Of course if folks in TN continue to be "sheeple" and follow whomever is leading them down the path of not getting vaccinated, this pandemic will be with us forever.
@steve, As soon as someone uses "sheeple" I know the rest of their argument isn't going to be worth the time to read it.
I read your comment and respect your opinion but my view carries the same weight as yours. Praying that you and others do not have any short term or long term issues by taking the vaccines.
So to recap- since my original comment.... *J&J vax suspended for safety issues *pfizer ceo says 3rd shot needed *no shots prevent you from catching *no shots prevent you from spreading *people are dying thanks to the vaccines according to the cdc VAERS database. Remember, YOU are the guinea pig if you take this shot.
@steve it seems to me that you’re referring to ppl with critical thinking as sheeple? Did o read that correctly? Being cautious is proving to be the right move, since ya know %50 of these vaccines in the western world have been pulled for safety concerns. And %100 will not prevent getting or spreading the worlds most dangerous virus. Tell me again who the sheep are? Or tell me what the tv told you to think.
I have no idea. I am just sick of seeing that term and "control" and" hoax" and "fake" and on and on and on, as well as being sick of those who seem somehow to have gotten some type of medical/scientific degrees - quickly - during the past year. I never dreamed in 2019 that there was this much ignorance and stupidity all around me. And since I object heartily to any type "discussion" with anonymous folks ( people who will not use their names) , I'll stop there.
@steve Ok. So you won’t debate any of the points I brought up as to why people are hesitant? Those are all valid reasons to be hesitant mind you, before we even get into it’s rushed creation and admittedly small (compared with other vaccines) test groups. You don’t need scientific degrees to critically think and use the resources the CDC makes available like their VAERS (vaccine adverse event reporting system) database. And it certainly doesn’t take a science degree to know that vaccine companies are NOT legally liable in any way of their products injure (since 1986!) and lastly I hope no one with a science degree would be foolish enough to trust vaccines from companies like Johnson & Johnson, who couldn’t even make baby powder. I can hear it now, 15 years into the future, late night tv commercials “if you or someone you know was injured by a covid vaccine call.....”
