Linebaugh Public Library is pleased to host local author Gilbert Gordon for a book signing on Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The author will be signing and selling copies of his book, Ramblings on Rock Springs Road, which was published by BookBaby in September 2021.

Ramblings on Rock Springs Road is a poignant memoir of growing up in a rural setting delimited by geography and family. Characters are as vivid as they are ordinary. It relates the people and experiences of the author's youth with the glow of nostalgia and the gut of realism, all at an emotionally pulsing yet leisurely pace.

Gordon spent the first half of his sixty years on his family dairy farm. The last thirty years have seen him turn to teaching as his vocation. In 1991, he and his wife, Ginny, founded Cedar Hall School on a part of the family farm and were privileged to teach their children along with others. Teaching still brings them both joy and purpose as they continue their 'ramblings' on Rock Springs Road.

The author will be selling copies of his book at $17 for paperback. Cash or check accepted.
