First Ever Nashville No Kid Hungry Dinner Will Unite the Region's Premier Chefs and Philanthropists on March 22, 2018 to Help End Childhood Hunger

Nearly 1 in 6 children in this country struggles with hunger, including more than 1 in 5 kids in Tennessee.

No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger in this nation by ensuring that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget. Since the campaign's launch, No Kid Hungry and its partners have connected kids struggling with hunger to more than 775 million meals.

And there is a great gourmet opportunity for you, dear reader, to help and to enjoy an amazing evening of fabulous food, art and good company here in Nashville at the stunning 21c Museum Hotel in downtown Nashville.

On Thursday, March 22, Levon Wallace of Gray & Dudley at 21c Museum Hotel, will host the city's first ever Nashville No Kid Hungry Dinner presented by Citi, an exclusive multi-course event to benefit No Kid Hungry's work to end childhood hunger in America.

The dinner will feature nationally renowned guest chefs Kelly English (Restaurant Iris & The Second Line, Memphis & Oxford, Miss.), Nathan Duensing (Thompson Nashville, Nashville), Lisa Marie White (Thompson Nashville, Nashville), and Tandy Wilson (City House, Nashville), all united for a cause: making sure all children in this country have the healthy food they need, every day.

The dinner will be preceded by a cocktail reception and will feature a live auction in which guests can bid on a variety of luxury culinary and travel items. All proceeds from the event support No Kid Hungry's work to end childhood hunger across the country and right here in Nashville.

If you haven’t visited the 21c Museum Hotel yet, it is a special place.

The public areas have thought-provoking art exhibits, the restaurant is a chic and interesting space with truly stunning food and service.  If you can’t make the event on March 22, I’d still suggest a visit to 21c Museum Hotel and /or all of the participating chef’s restaurants to support the folks who support our community.
