The 46th annual Town of Smyrna Christmas Parade and Food Drive will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2pm.

Spectators will gather along the parade route to watch floats, bands, classic cars, dancers, and Santa and Mrs. Claus as they travel northbound on Lowry Street toward Sam Ridley Parkway.

Additionally, parade organizers invite you to make a difference in our community by donating to our Christmas Parade Food Drive. Town personnel will collect non-perishable food items from spectators along the route and participants at check-in.

“We believe in neighbor helping neighbor, and we believe that no family in our community should experience food insecurity,” explained Smyrna Mayor Mary Esther Reed. “We invite those who participate in our parade and those who are spectators to help us reach our goal of 50,000 items collected to benefit Nourish Food Bank.”

Parade related road closures are as follows:

  • 8:00am – 3:00pm: Mayfield Drive will be closed from Lowry Street to Soccer Way
  • 1:45pm: Lowry Street will be closed from Mayfield Drive to Nolan Drive, northbound and southbound, until the conclusion of the parade
  • 1:45pm: Nolan Drive will be closed until all parade entries have cleared the area
  • 1:45pm: Sam Ridley Parkway will be reduced to one lane from Nolan Drive to Lee Victory Recreation Park until all parade entries have cleared the area
