“The weather prediction for Saturday is 61 degrees and sunny for the Turkey Tee Off golf tournament,” announced Child Advocacy Center Development Coordinator Katie Enzor. “We have been blessed with 11 years of beautiful weather for our golf tournament and this year is no exception!”

The Child Advocacy Center is hosting the 11th Annual Turkey Tee Off golf tournament on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Cedar Crest Golf Course. Start the day at 8 a.m. with a Chick-fil-A breakfast before teeing off at 9 a.m. Have your team picture taken, put your putting skills to the test, place your bids in the online silent auction, aim for a chance to win the $10,000 hole in one contest, and join us for 18 rounds of golf on a beautiful Saturday morning.

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble! Sign up quickly because teams are filling up. You can sponsor the tournament or host a team of golfers at cacrutherford.org/events.

“The silent auction is live today,” continued Enzor. “You don’t have to be present to place your bids and you don’t have to be present to win. Do not miss out on the wonderful holiday items!” Place your bids at cacrutherford.org/silent-auction.

“The Child Advocacy Center is grateful to all of our faithful sponsors. Some of them have sponsored the tournament for the last 11 years,” said Child Advocacy Center director Sharon De Boer. Sponsors include: Altimate Controls, Clarksville Auto Auction, Don Clayton, CRF Properties, Farrer Bros. Hardware, Josh Hawkins, Middle Tennessee Electric, My Team Insurance Services, Patterson Family, David Puckett, Redstone Federal Credit Union, U.S. Community Credit Union, Waldron, Fann & Parsley Attorneys at Law, and Wilson Bank & Trust.

The Child Advocacy Center works as a team with the Department of Children’s Services, law enforcement, and the District Attorney’s Office to respond to child abuse cases, investigate the crime, aggressively prosecute offenders, help children heal from the trauma, and help families rebuild their shattered lives. All proceeds from the golf tournament will provide critically needed services for child abuse victims.
