“The Child Advocacy Center is counting down to the 11th Annual Turkey Tee Off,” announced Development Coordinator Katie Enzor. The annual golf tournament benefits the Child Advocacy Centers in Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
The Turkey Tee Off golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Cedar Crest Golf Course. Start the day at 8 a.m. with a Chick-fil-A breakfast before teeing off at 9 a.m. “Have your team picture taken, put you’re putting skills to the test, place your bids in the online silent auction, aim for a chance to win the $10,000 hole in one contest, and join us for 18 holes of golf,” continued Enzor.
Here’s how you can get involved and make a difference in the lives of child abuse victims – sponsor the tournament, host a team of golfers, and bid on silent auction items. Sign up. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, 18 holes of golf, a mulligan, and a red tee.
The Child Advocacy Center works as a team with the Department of Children’s Services, law enforcement, and the District Attorney’s Office to respond to child abuse cases, investigate the crime, aggressively prosecute offenders, help children heal from the trauma, and help families rebuild their shattered lives. All proceeds from the golf tournament will provide critically needed services for child abuse victims.
