An open letter to Democrats from a Democrat: Reject Bloomberg

Micheal Bloomberg is trying to buy the nomination

An open letter to Democrats from a Democrat:

Democrats, we need to talk. It's serious. You won't win a presidential election against a racist, xenophobic, homophobic, islamaphobic, sexist billionaire by endorsing and running a racist, xenophobic, homophobic, islamaphobic, sexist billionaire against him.

So don't let Micheal Bloomberg buy this nomination.

That's not how you win. And that's certainly not how you win when you've been screaming and crying for four years about those things. It's not how you distinguish yourself from that. It's just not. I mean really, folks.

Take a deep breath and look at yourself for a minute. Think about why you are passionate about getting that bastard out of office. Do you really think the only way to do that is by electing someone just like him? Is that what you want to be known for? Is that what you call winning?

If so, then I am not one of you and want no part of that masquerade. This garbage is why people say there is no difference between the two political parties in this country. And you are proving their point. If that's the way we have to win then count me out.

Want some proof? Here's Bloomberg compared to some of Trump's most disgusting characteristics:

Conservatism:

“I actually am a conservative—more so than other conservatives in the sense that I think you could go and cut 2 or 3 percent out of the budget in every agency. We've done that 12 times, and we've cut roughly a billion and a half, and there's six-odd billion that's recurring, and you can go and cut people or find other revenue sources.”

“We are going to get George W. Bush re-elected as president of the United States! We are going to carry New York City and New York State. Everybody thinks I'm crazy, but I think we can do it.”

Sexism:

“If women wanted to be appreciated for their brains, they'd go to the library instead of to Bloomingdale's.”

“I would like nothing more in life than to have Sharon Stone sit on my face.”

Homophobia:

“What a bunch of misfits—a gay, an architect, that horsey-faced lesbian, and a kid who gave up Koo Stark for some fat broad.” (Speaking about the British royal family)

Racism:

“Ninety-five percent of murders, murderers, and murder victims fit one M.O. You can just take a description, Xerox it, and pass it out to all the cops. They are male, minorities, 16 to 25."

“Put the cops where the crime is, which is in minority neighborhoods. So one of the unintended consequences is people say, 'Oh, my God, you are arresting kids for marijuana that are all minorities.' Yes, that's true. Why? Because we put all the cops in minority neighborhoods. Why do we do it? Because that's where all the crime is."

Islamophobia:

Under the Bloomberg administration, the New York Police Department (NYPD) enacted a sweeping, years-long surveillance and profiling program targeting Muslims in New York and New Jersey. For being guilty of the crime of being Muslim, potentially thousands of innocent people were subject to video surveillance, photographed license plates, community mapping programs and had undercover officers infiltrate their mosques, schools, businesses and restaurants. The spying program led to a major civil rights lawsuit, Hassan v. City of New York, and a landmark settlement that required the NYPD to halt suspicionless surveillance activities on the basis of religion or ethnicity. The plaintiffs in Hassan were represented by Muslim Advocates, the Center for Constitutional Rights and the Gibbons, P.C. law firm, and the terms of that settlement were recently completed.

Despite widespread outrage, Bloomberg in 2012 defended the program, saying “that's what you would expect them to do. That's what you would want them to.” Additionally, in 2015, then-candidate Donald Trump praised the Bloomberg administration for supporting the NYPD's Muslim spying program, saying “we had great surveillance going on in and around mosques in New York City.”

It was a trick. None of these are from Trump. They are all Bloomberg.

Come on, folks! What in the world are you thinking?

In order to stand apart from that disgusting man in the White House, you need to actually be different from him.

Fortunately, Bloomberg doesn't stand a chance in the primaries but what if he did? You should be ashamed.

I know it makes me re-think who I associate with. I believe in the things I believe in because of conviction. Not because of some dumb ass letter or animal mascot that I like better.

Thank heavens there IS an alternative to that garbage in the White House. Get behind someone that stands far and away apart. Don't be the same.
