Inaugural Boro Balloon Fest takes Murfreesboro to new heights August 2-4

Boro Balloon Fest will feature hot air balloons for adventure flights, tethered rides, and balloon glows for three days in August.

In addition to the hot air balloons activities will include food trucks, live music, craft vendors, hayrides, a slime creation station, and a hot air balloon photo booth sponsored by Puckett’s Murfreesboro. Boro Balloon Fest has fun and adventure for all ages.

The first-ever Boro Balloon Fest takes off Friday, Aug. 2 with adventure flights in the morning at a pilot-determined time, tethered rides beginning at 4 p.m. at the pilots’ discretion and a balloon glow at 7 p.m.! Friday is Americana Night sponsored by The Alley on Main. Come listen to the croons of singers, songwriters and bands!

Boro Balloon Fest continues flying on Saturday, Aug. 3 with more adventure flights in the morning at a pilot-determined time, tethered rides beginning at 4 p.m. at the pilots’ discretion and a balloon glow at 7 p.m.! Saturday, Grammy Nominee singer, Dave Barnes, will perform at 4:30 p.m. to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

Boro Balloon Fest draws to a close on Sunday, Aug. 4 with adventure flights in the morning with other Fest activities continuing throughout the day. Seeds Church takes the stage for a Sunday morning praise and worship. All are welcome!

Scheduled during the beginning season of Sunflowers at The Grove at Williamson Place, this picturesque festival is 12-9 p.m.  

General Admission Tickets are PER VEHICLE. One General Admission Ticket includes entry and parking to the Fest FOR ALL GUESTS IN YOUR VEHICLE. General Admission Tickets are non-refundable. This event will happen rain or shine.

General Admission tickets are required in addition to purchasing a tethered ride, but not an adventure ride. Hot air balloon tethered and adventure flight tickets will be refunded or rescheduled if the weather does not permit. Each passenger will be required to sign a waiver form before getting in the air crafts. Passengers must be able to stand upright in the hot air balloon baskets.
