For three days, middle and high school students and the public have the opportunity to interact with authors like New York Times bestselling authors Angie Thomas, Nic Stone, Margaret Peterson Haddix, David Arnold and Nashville's Jeff Zentner (pictured above), whose "The Serpent King" and "Goodbye Days" were nominated for a Carnegie Medal.

Other local authors include Sharon Cameron, Greg Howard, Andrew Maraniss, C.J. Redwine, Courtney Stevens, Jamie Sumner and Kristin O'Donnell Tubb This year SE-YA Festival attendees will have the opportunity to attend panels, author meet & greets and shop the full service bookstore available onsite.

"Over the past five years, SE-YA Book Festival has established itself as a premier event that left a lasting impression on those involved by fostering a personal one-on-one experience between young adults and authors,"said SE-YA President Elizabeth Hicks. "Bringing readers and writers together has been a hallmark for the festival, and the Southeastern Young Adult Book Festival is thrilled and proud to have been chosen by Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Festival & Event winner!"

This year's Southern Invitational Truck and Tractor Pull is Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2020. Racing into its 15th year, the Southern Invitational Truck and Tractor Pull has been taking place at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum since 2006! This high-speed event is produced by Southern Motorsports Promotions as an invitation-only pull.

With almost 200 competitors traveling from around the country to participate, each event is as exciting as the last with them pulling their way to victory. The local attendance for this indoor tractor pull is always astounding with no space left unfilled and the community certainly welcomes the surplus of visitors during the annual event.
