Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and SurgiCenter will open a new location Monday, April 8 at Fountains at The Gateway, MMC announced April 3.

MMC's Plastic Surgery and Dermatology & Aesthetics Departments as well as the boutique (formally known as U MediSpa) will offer patients health and beauty services in Rutherford County. 

"We are so pleased to announce the upcoming relocation and expansion of our medical spa, dermatology and plastic surgery practice areas," saidJoseph A. Peay, Chief Executive Officer of MMC, adding he is looking forward to the move. "Led by board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Albert Kattine, and board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Brad Medling, the new facility at the Fountains will provide ever higher levels of service and amenities to our patients in these departments."

MMC's offices at the Fountains will feature almost 18,000 square feet of exquisitely-designed space for these growing departments. This will include 6,000 square feet on the first floor for the aesthetics services and the boutique retail space and another 12,000 square feet on the second floor for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology.

"The relocation will also accommodate the growth of other practice areas at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and Surgicenter, allowing us to serve more patients as our other clinical departments continue to expand," Peay said. "Adjacent to our main medical campus on Garrison Drive,the new Fountains location will be convenient for patients traveling between the offices while also offering much greater visibility to those departments."

Additionally, this space will allow MMC to expand its service offerings through Kattine Aesthetics and the boutique, formerly known as U MediSpa.

Kattine Aesthetics will continue to offer its most popular cosmetic treatments such as Coolsculpting, Injectables, Microdermabrasions, and Laser Hair removal. Additionally, Dr. Kattine and trained providers will begin offering Hydrafacial services. Hydrafacial, the latest in advanced facial treatments, achieves a hydrated, instant glow.

The move will also allow the boutique to expand and offer an array of sought after brands that are not currently offered in Rutherford County. Sympli, Waxing Poetic, Johnny Was, Brighton, Barefoot Dreams and Cobblestone are just a few of the brands the boutique will carry initially. Brands will continue to be added as MMC Buyer, Penny Bolton, owner of the former Penny's Closet, brings the latest, high quality fashions to the boutique.
