I am still unsure what exactly to make of the New York Times-published anonymous opinion piece ostensibly penned by a "senior official" in the Trump administration.
I am positive the hit piece was not authored by a senior official. It was either a minor administrator or holdover from the Obama administration or a complete fabrication, the collusion of the Times and the Democratic Party.
Complete fabrication is a real possibility given Lanny Davis' recent admission to lying, as an anonymous source to CNN, of political hijinks in the infamous Trump Tower meeting.
The timing of this editorial is curious too: coinciding with the new Bob Woodward book and following John McCain's funeral-orchestrated to make President Trump look bad.
The media-journalists, the venerated "Fourth Estate," isn't supposed to be part of the resistance to a President or political party anyway but instead are supposed to report the facts.
The bombshell exploding here though, provided there is any authenticity to the guest editorial, is the final exposure of the existence of a "Deep State," that is unelected bureaucrats in Washington — the swamp — who act as the primary resistance to President Trump's agenda and exist as an unseen force protecting business as usual in Washington.
The existence of the Deep State has been dismissed as fantasy and propaganda by most in the media and virtually any careerist in Washington, but now someone has admitted to filling this role. There has been a silent coup against this President from the beginning, and now it isn't so silent.
"Many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his (Trump's) agenda and his worst inclinations," the official writes, adding, "I would know. I am one of them."
So, there really is a Deep State, saboteurs within the federal government who hope to derail a duly elected President, and they are being aided at every turn by the mainstream media who ignore all good news and focus on non-existent Russian collusion and the latest Trump tweets.
End the sham Muller investigation now.
Furthermore, my advice is: When possible, vote for outsiders with no stake in the present system. End business as usual.
