The 41st annual Uncle Dave Macon Days was held Friday and Saturday, July 14 and 15 at Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro.

Held annually on the second full weekend in July, Uncle Dave Macon Days plays hosts to national competitions for old-time clogging, buckdancing, and old-time banjo.

The celebration is named for Uncle Dave Macon—also known as "The Dixie Dewdrop." He was an American old-time banjo player, singer, songwriter, and comedian, who gained regional fame as a vaudeville performer in the early 1920s before becoming the first star of the Grand Ole Opry in the latter half of the decade.
