Days of Action is an opportunity for volunteers to read to school children from 1st to 3rd grade to help prevent the "summer slide," when children, especially struggling readers, forget some of what they've learned or slip out of practice during the summer months.

United Way has partnered with Read To Succeed to help focus on the education pillar for this year's Day of Action. Volunteers will attend a session at Read To Succeed giving them instructions and will then travel to their site to read to students.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to bring your own book to read. Please make sure the book is suitable for students from 1st-3rd grade.

**When you select a site to read at please note that the event will kick off at the Read To Succeed building at 415 N. Maple Street. If you see a site is full please sign up for another school. Thank you!**
