On May 13, Pastor Jason Scales released his book, "How’s That Working for You?" In his book, Scales takes a closer look at the importance of self-awareness and how to align your actions with your destiny.

“This book describes fictional stories based on real-life experiences people encounter every day in hopes that you will see yourself or someone you know in the story,” Scales said. “It takes a light approach to the heavy topic of becoming self-aware.”

Scales is originally from Shelbyville, Tenn., and holds a bachelor's degree and MBA from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. "How’s That Working for You?" is the follow-up release to his first book entitled "Resilient: How to Bounce Back from Loss."

Scales’ hope is that those who read this book will be inspired to make a positive change in their lives.

“It’s designed to help you locate where you are and determine what you need to do to get where you desire to be. The problem is never the destination; it’s what you are doing to get there," he said.
