The Murfreesboro Police Department announced the graduation of Sgt. Justin Lemanski from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.

This school consists of an upper-level executive leadership curriculum that focuses on police management, human resources, personnel allocation and organizational behavior.

Past graduates include Maj. David Hudgens, Capt. Cary Gensemer, Capt. Nathan McDaniel, Capt. Alan Smith, Lt. Garry Carter, Lt. Don Fanning, Lt. Steve Jarrell, Lt. Jeff Keaton, Lt. Jimmy Puckett, Lt. Steve Teeters, Sgt. Bryan Anderson, Sgt. Jeff Baskette, Sgt. Reco Hathaway, Sgt. Tommy Massey, Sgt. Scott Newberg, Sgt. Melonie Roche, and Sgt. Greg Walker.
