Murfreesboro man killed in motorcycle crash

A 39-year-old man was killed Sunday night, April 29 when he crashed his motorcycle ear the Stones River National Battlefield on N. Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro Police announced in a press release.

The fatal crash occurred at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, April 29, and involved a single vehicle, a 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide Motorcycle, which was traveling northbound on N. Thompson Lane.

The motorcycle left the travel lane and struck a concrete curb which caused the driver to be ejected and sustain life-ending injuries.

The driver was identified as William Jonathan Lee, 39, of Murfreesboro.

The Fatal Accident Crash Team will complete the investigation of the crash.
