Murfreesboro Parks & Rec joined forces with Candle Wishes to ask everyone to escape for a day into the woods to join a community of adventure seekers, explorers, risk takers, and nature lovers at Boro Adventure Fest

The event, held April 21 at Barfield Crescent Park, was born to celebrate the wanderlust culture in our city.

All proceeds benefitted Candle Wishes, a local nonprofit that fulfills the birthday wishes and provides essential needs for homeless and needy children in our community.

The adventure started with a hike through the woods. Then, the experience continued with live music, campfires, food, hammocking, slacklining, rock climbing, and so much more.
