Please know your Mother is the fourth generation of folks, family, and friends no longer enslaved to another. My Daddy was not a slave. And my Grand Daddy was a sharecropper but my Great Grand Daddy was a slaved who walked freedom road to the hills of Tennessee.

I want you to know and understand the truth about the American slavery of black folks, family, and friends. I know you've seen movies like Roots and 12 Years a Slave and maybe you've even seen Amistad.

I want you to know the truth about the American slavery of black folks, family, and friends. I want you to know this slavery which ended with The Civil War. I want you to know this slavery which ended with The Emancipation Proclamation DID NOT start because of your ethnicity, but the enslavement of folks is almost always due to the evil of economics.
Dear children of mine:
The LOVE of money leads to any day slavery in America. Modern Day Slavery is based on and in economics as well. Slavery was about the LOVE of money then and it is about the Love of money now.
PBS states slavery was established in Colonial America. It happened gradually -- one person at a time, one law at a time, even one colony at a time. Our forefathers were not enslaved because of their ethnicity. The root of all evil caused American slavery to grow into racial slavery. Racial slavery was the end result of an economic solution to the shortage of labor in Colonial America.
