What's for dinner? Anything you want because more restaurants are coming to Murfreesboro.
To start, Murfreesboro is getting a new wood-burning oven at Sami's Brick Oven Pizzeria, located in the commercial development behind Party Fowl.
Owner and operator Sami Ihmaidan said the oven was delivered last week and the sign is getting installed. He has a target opening date set for the first week of February.
The restaurant will feature Italian favorites like pizza, Stromboli, lasagna, pasta and sandwiches, along with a few Mediterranean dishes, all made from scratch. The menu will be available for carrying out or delivery too, according to Sami's Facebook page.
If you'd rather send someone fruit instead of pizza, Edible Arrangements is opening a Murfreesboro location in Fountains at Gateway, according to a post on the company's website.
There's no more information other than: "Edible Arrangements 1712 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee will be opening soon and working to Make Life a Little Sweeter for our local community!"

Speaking of The Fountains, Kitchen Fresh has opened for business.
The new, fast-casual restaurant concept is built around healthy, organic, chef-inspired food. All food is made from scratch and fresh-to-order. Meals are served in bowls with ingredients selected by each customer and prepared by Kitchen Fresh staff for dine-in or take out.
Co-owners Brandon Whitsett and Asmir Pervan are successful business owners of Core Construction & Consulting, a national remodeling company and insurance claims specialist based in Murfreesboro.
Murfreesboro isn't the only town that likes to eat. Smyrna got some exciting news last week, Chipotle is coming to town.
The fast-casual Mexican restaurant confirmed its plans to revamp the old Pollo Tropical off Sam Ridley Parkway, according to an article in The Daily News Journal.
The restaurant that specializes in tacos and Mission-style burritos has a target opening in late March.
Opened in 1993, Chipotle prides itself on using fresh ingredients and the cooking techniques used in high-end restaurants to make great food accessible at reasonable prices.
More than 20 years later, the chain operates 1,500 restaurants in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and France.
