Murfreesboro Mama: 9 Spots for Easter Fun

This Easter looks a little different than last -- thank goodness! Easter egg hunts and visits with the Easter Bunny are a thing again, and local businesses and organizations are getting ready to egg the city in style. Find out where you can and your littles can find brightly colored eggs around the city.

1. Lucky Ladd Farms

The state's largest petting zoo reopens for the season with bang! Kids will love a VIP breakfast with the Easter Bunny, and one awesome egg hunt, April 2nd and 3rd, while adults can get in on the holiday fun with the farm's "Bunnies and Brews" on April 10, featuring live music, games, prizes, and bottomless sips and delicious bites. 2. Elite Energy Gymnastics and Cheer Easter Egg Hunt

Kids will have a blast on March 27 finding the sweets and then burning them off inside one of the city's premier gyms. FREE. Details.

3. Easter Egg Trunk Hunt

Sign up to participate in Child Development Services Trunk Hunt to decorate your trunk and pass out Easter Eggs April 3. FREE. Details.

4. 2nd annual 'Egg the City'

Gather with the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation department as they help the city celebrate Easter in a BIG way on April 3! Register for the 30,000 egg hunt, eat lunch, and have fun with face painting, prizes, inflatables and more. FREE Details.

5. Easter Egg Dyeing

On April 3 join this special workshop in collaboration with St. Clair Senior Citizen Center and Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation for fun Easter-themed crafts and activities. Follow link for tickets. Details.

6. FUMC Easter Eggstravaganza

Come to First United Methodist on Thompson Lane  Saturday, April 3 for the leveled egg hunts for ages 3- 3rd grade, and stay for food trucks, games, balloon animals, photo booth, and more! FREE. Details. 

7. The Avenue Easter Egg Hunt

Combine a love of retail with a scavenger hunt, and you have The Avenue's Easter Egg Hunt! Follow clues on social media, snap a pic of your finds, and enter to win fantastic prizes! FREE. Details.

8. Visit with the Easter Bunny and Milkbarn Story Time

9. Drive-Thru Egg Hunt
