The Mindful Care Benefit originally scheduled for April 16 at Hop Springs in Murfreesboro has been rescheduled to October 15, in keeping with safeguards against spread of the coronavirus epidemic.

The fundraiser will feature Jack Pearson, of the Allman Brothers Band, as well as acoustic guitarist, John Salaway. More details will be released later.

Mindful Care Adult Day Services provides cognitive and physical activities five days a week for persons who have early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments, which gives their family caregivers a much-needed break. The program operates in New Vision Baptist Church, but is temporarily closed because of the virus precautions. Visit www.mindful-care.org or call (615) 542-4371 for updates and more information.
