King began his career with the Tennessee Department of Transportation as a Civil Engineer. During his time with TDOT, King worked in bridge design, traffic forecasting and statistics, traffic engineering, maintenance, and state aid.

Graduating from Vanderbilt with a degree in Civil Engineering, King is excited to serve his community in this role.

"I am a proud resident of Smyrna. This is a progressive community that remains a small town at heart. I look forward to the opportunity to serve in this capacity," he said.
