Rutherford County PAWS

Rutherford County PAWS invites all of Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas to help "Clear the Shelters."

Numerous community partners, vendors and guests are coming together Aug. 16-18 to find homes for the adoptable pets of Pet Adoption & Welfare Services (PAWS) of Rutherford County, in conjunction with the National "Clear the Shelters" campaign, sponsored Hill's Pet Nutrition and NBC-affiliated companies.

Thanks to adoption sponsors, Team George Weeks Real Estate, all available, adoptable pet fees will be waived to forever, loving homes the entire weekend at PAWS.

In celebration of this national campaign and community cause, PAWS is hosting an event day at the shelter from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. Numerous businesses and organizations, including, My 4 Dogs, Doggie's Day Out, Wag it Better, easyvetclinic, Beloved Waters and others, will be joining the cause, offering give-a-ways, special activities and more. Adoption sponsors, Team George Weeks, will be on-site as well.

While supplies last, those who adopt from PAWS August 16-18 will receive a free bag of Hill's Science Diet pet food, adoption package with special pet offers from event vendors, pet parenting tips and info, free pet tools and products from Hill's Pet Nutrition and more. In addition, all guests at the event will be able to receive and enter to win select prizes and offers.

All available animals are already up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed or neutered.

PAWS still has spots available for businesses and organizations who would like to come out and join the cause. Those interested can call PAWS or email: paws@rutherfordcountytn.gov.
