Exchange Clubs of Murfreesboro donation

The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro recently donated $1,000 to the Rutherford Arts Alliance, which will be used to promote and advance the programs that will better connect, not replace existing arts groups, and to better support individual artists and ventures in Rutherford County.

The overarching goal of Rutherford Arts Alliance is to connect creatives and community. The new nonprofit reflects an inclusive, grassroots effort to make Rutherford County known for the significant social and economic impact of its creative culture. Not just an organization, it's a movement to call for community change to prioritize Rutherford County's unique identity as a thriving cultural community that benefits local business, tourism, and our quality of life.

The effort by The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro is part of one of the programs of service by the organization – community service. Two other programs of the Club is Youth Activities and Americanism. The National Project of The Exchange Club is The Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Exchange Club's Vision is "A strong America, safe communities, and unified people." The Mission Statement is "Exchange, inspiring communities to become better places to live." More information on the national organization please visit NationalExchangeClub.org

The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro meets from 6-7 p.m. each Tuesday at Through the Grapevine for a meal and program. Membership is open with dues.
