Murfreesboro Police Officers have responded to the emergency department of St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital to investigate an adult victim with a gunshot wound.  The victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. The location of the shooting is believed to be in Murfreesboro but the exact location is being determined currently.
