A new gas station is planned for the corner of Franklin Road and Veterans Parkway.
Veterans Commons General Partnership of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, purchased the final acreage it needs at 5770 Franklin Rd. on July 18 in order to construct a commercial center and gas station on the property.
The Murfreesboro City Council had rezoned the property, at Veterans Commons request, to commercial highway to allow the planned commercial development to be constructed.
The lot was combined with 5742 and 5756 Franklin Rd. to complete the 3.6-acre lot.
