New Hilton hotel to open in Smyrna in the fall

The newest Dual Brand Hilton properties--Home2Suites and Tru by Hilton--is slated to open early Fall 2018 in Smyrna.

The Dual Hilton Brand Properties will have 167 guest rooms and suites to accommodate the Middle Tennessee traveler.

Home2 Suites by Hilton is an award-winning extended-stay hotel concept designed to offer stylish accommodations with flexible guest room configurations and inspired amenities for the cost-conscious guest, while the Tru is the newest Hilton brand offering a brand-new hotel experience from Hilton which vibrant, affordable, and free spirited.

Each property will have amenities such as complimentary breakfast, complimentary wi-fi, 55-inch 4K LGTV, and Tesla charging station as well as spacious lobbies with adult beverages from the Home2 Markit or the Tru ShopIt.

The Home2Suites and Tru by Hilton will create 50 new jobs in Rutherford County. Mary Jane Parker, general manager of the Home2Suites, Randy Coots general manager of the Tru, along with Rosemary Short, director of sales, (all pictured above) have 45 years of combined Hospitality Management experience.

The Home2Suites and Tru by Hilton is owned by Deven Shah of Smyrna Hospitality Holdings a subsidiary of the Shah Brothers Hotel Group based in Clarksville, Tenn.

Shah is also the owner of the Candlewood Suites, which opened September 2015, and has just broken ground for a new Best Western Glo. The group is excited to bring four different and exciting hotel concepts to the fast-growing city of Smyrna. Properties that will contribute a generous amount of tax revenue to Rutherford County.
