Saint Thomas invests $1M+ in land for outpatient surgery center

Saint Thomas Health bought the land needed to build a new outpatient surgery center in Murfreesboro, according to records from the Rutherford County Register of Deeds.

Saint Thomas purchased the 2.25 acres at 2779 New Salem Rd. in Murfreesboro for $1.19 million from Terri Weakland on March 21.

The acreage will be the future home of a 13,000-square-foot multi-specialty outpatient surgical center with two operating rooms and one procedure room.

The health care system is expected to spend more than $16 million on the new facility.

Other transactions of note

Hon Shores Tennessee bought 3864 Yeargan Rd. in Murfreesboro for $3.15 million from Mary Lou Dodson on March 28. According to records from the Property Assessor, the 110-acre lot is zoned as agricultural and holds a home built in 1900.

Cantrell Farms bought nearly 17 acres at 401 Almaville Road in Smyrna for $1.5 million from the Evelyn Lee Estate on March 29.

Bluegrass Capital Group bought 1302 Dow St. in Murfreesboro for $850,000 on March 21 from Brian Riel of General Dentistry.

Adam Woodlee bought 500 W. Lytle St. in Murfreesboro for $883,400 from Lytle Street Investments on April 3.

David Ingram sold a lot in the Waldron Road Parcel in La Vergne to Waldron Road Partners LLC for $760,000 on March 26.

On March 27, Falcon Custard Holdings bought 2232-2234 Memorial Blvd. in Murfreesboro for $645,129 and Ozarks Investment Properties bought 2238-2240 Memorial Blvd. for $645,129.

Murfreesboro Storage Fund LLC bought 8461 Franklin Rd. in Murfreesboro for $450,000 on March 26.

From March 20-April 3, 68 residential lots were sold developments like Woodmont, Puckett Station, Cascade Falls and Valleybrook.

Brian and Julie Thure bought 3923 Lakebrook Drive in Murfreesboro for $1.6 million on March 28.

According to Zillow, the Mediterranean-style home has five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms in 8,000 square feet. It also features a gourmet kitchen, butler's pantry and nanny's quarters, and an infinity pool.

David and Karen Sain bought a home in Wynthrope Hall for $675,000 on March 27.

Jeremy Godwin bought 1111 Julian Way in Murfreesboro for $669,000 on March 28.

Blake and Jessica Hill bought 2156 Slater Drive in Murfreesboro for $525,000 on April 3.

Michael and Heather Jolly bought 6400 Rocky Fork Rd. in Smyrna for $510,000 on March 29.

Samuel Muller bought 3336 Vintage Grove Parkway in Murfreesboro for $499,900 on April 3.

Robert and Valorie Parker bought 2708 Dora Elizabeth Court in Murfreesboro for $469,900 on March 26.

Lawrence and Terrie Williams bought 2427 Donald Bradley Court in Murfreesboro for $479,000 on April 3.
