Jared McBrearty hails from Connecticut and has spent the majority of his life in the heart of the state, where he’s built a career grounded in hard work, determination, and personal growth. He kicked off his working life at just 11 years old, taking on odd jobs and picking vegetables at a local farm during the summer months. Those formative experiences instilled in him a solid work ethic that would shape his future endeavors.

At 16, Jared dove into the construction world, starting with concrete work. He steadily climbed the ranks from laborer to foreman and eventually took on supervisory roles with various companies. In 2011, he took a big step by launching his first concrete construction business. To keep busy during the slower winter months, he teamed up with a close friend to branch out into interior renovations—this friend would later become his co-owner at A1 Home Improvement.

Over the last 15 years, Jared has shifted his focus more towards home renovations and property investments, especially house flipping. After officially joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, he played a key role in boosting the company’s revenue by four to five times while also enhancing the roofing, siding, and window divisions.

Jared is actively involved in marketing, sales, and operational improvements, and he has a genuine passion for mentoring others. He’s an avid reader, a devoted father, and a committed member of his community, balancing his business achievements with family, faith, and service—most recently, he helped launch A1 Solar, which has quickly become a trusted name in Connecticut’s solar industry.
