Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Rutherford County can be very exciting.  There are dozens of parties to choose from, many exciting events, some family friendly and some adults only.  However you decide to celebrate New Year’s, make it fun, and always be safe.

Listed below are five-teen events taking place in Murfreesboro this week for New Year’s Eve, many you dress up in gowns and tuxedos, while some you attend in pajamas or whatever.  Attend one or try to attend as many as you can, just make sure to kiss your sweetheart at Midnight.

1. Great Gatsby New Year’s Eve Party at Mayday Brewery in Murfreesboro. Dress in your 20’s period best and join Ozzy and friends as they bring in the New Year in true F. Scott Fitzgerald style, located at 521 Old Salem Road in Murfreesboro.

2. New Year’s Eve Bash at The Walnut House in Murfreesboro, Cocktails, DJ, Dancing, Cigar Bar, Casino Games, private seating, valet parking, red carpet, and paparazzi, located at 116 N Walnut Street in Murfreesboro.

3. Murfreesboro VIP New Year’s Eve at The Goat. Start 2022 in style and raise a glass to the New Year. Tickets are $50 - $200 and available on eventbrite.com.  The goat is located at 2355 Adwell in Murfreesboro.

4. Family event - Winterfest at The Fountains at Gateway is a family friendly fun adventure to bring in the New Year. The Fountains is located on Medical Center Parkway.

5. Family Event - New Year’s Eve Celebration at Murfreesboro Strike & Spare. If you are interested in family fun, this may be for you and your group.  The bowling center is fun and affordable for people of all ages and levels.  Located at 1720 Old Ford Parkway in Murfreesboro.

6. Family Event - Count Down to Noon at the Discovery Center in Murfreesboro. This is a family fun adventure for the little ones.  Rather than bring in the New Year, they bring in the New After Noon with games, stories, and family centric fun.  Located at 502 S.E. Broad Street, Murfreesboro.

7. Family Event - Smyrna Outdoor Adventures on Ram Ridley Parkway is bringing in the New Year with adventures and athletics. This is a great way to bring “healthy” into a celebration. Located at 100 E. Sam Ridley Pkwy in Smyrna.

8. Hop Springs on John Bragg Highway along with the band Mixtape will be playing all night as guests enjoy music and dancing to bring in the New Year at their lovely outdoor arena.

9. Family Event - Begin the New Year with the Murfreesboro 2022 New Year’s Day 5K, the event is offered by Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation and The City of Murfreesboro Government, and held at Barfield Crescent Park. Registration is still available at com/newyearsday5kmboro.  No race day registration will be offered.  The event begins at Barfield Park at 11:15 AM.

10. The Sneaker Ball at 910 Ridgely Road Suite A in Murfreesboro offers card tables, photo booth, live music, live entertainment, dinner, purple carpet runway, and paparazzi to bring the New Year with style. Tickets are $10 - $350 and available on Eventbrite.

11. Family Event - SkyZone of Murfreesboro is offering a kid friendly event and a safe and active celebration. Tickets available at haveablast.roller.app/skyzonemurfreesboro/products/onlinetickets.  Located at 1220 NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro.

12. New Year's Eve Party with Bill Ashmore & The Last Stand in Murfreesboro at The Jug Bar & Grill. Come on out for cold drinks and HOT Country, where you can party like it's 1999.  Located at 534 SE Broad Street in Murfreesboro.

13. New Year’s Eve Party at Hanks on 2333 Memorial Blvd in Murfreesboro. This is a private party with 2 Doors Down.  Your party ticket of $50 includes live entertainment to shake your tail feathers into the New Year, appetizers, party favors and a Champaign toast at midnight, Silent Ruckus performing from 9pm to midnight. 

14. NYE Green & Gold Champagne Ball at Nirvana Bar and Lounge 1432 Memorial Blvd in Murfreesboro. Come celebrate with us at Nirvana Bar & Lounge for the NYE Green & Gold Champagne Ball. Attire is dress to impress.
    Doors open at 9 pm, $25 Admission.  Admission comes with complimentary champagne toast. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door. To purchase sections you can make reservations on tock, sections come with a complimentary bottle of champagne, vibes provided by @bjaytheedj.

15. New Year’s Eve Party at Seasons of Murfreesboro Restaurant and Lounge. Tickets are $75 - $120 and available on eventbrite.com/e/167894034577.  Make plans now to rock in the NEW YEAR at Seasons at our New Year’s Eve bash with not one, but two big bands! DJ dance party starts right after the bands playing your favorite music until 2:30am.  Tickets include: Live Music by BACKLIT & StaticPop, Party Favors, Dinner, & Bottle of Champagne for Every Table!
