The Circuit Court Clerks of Rutherford County under the direction of their leader elected official Melissa Harrell gave homeless and underserved families a beautiful Christmas fit for Santa himself.

Toys, clothing, and food filled the clerks office to a height of more than three van full of gifts for those in need in our own County.  The word circulated that there are families with children that would not be celebrating Christmas this year, and as they often do, the clerks said “What Can We Do”, and they made it happen.

Serving more than 50 families, Santa was in the house as all of his Clerk Elves scurried around decorating a local hotel with Christmas trees, ornaments, candy canes, and more decorations one may ever have seen.  The recipients…those in true need.

The children played games and decorated cookies all while dining on pizza and other snacks.  When finished eating the children visited with Santa Clause himself and then where gifted with what they desired for Christmas.  StudioC Photography took photos of the children, edited, printed, and framed each picture for that extra touch of holiday cheer.  The families were also given new clothing in all the children’s sizes, and gently used clothing for the adults as well.  There were basketballs, dolls, stuffed toys and games, and backpacks filled with toiletries, snacks, and a little touch of love.

Special thank you to Mellissa Harrell and Sandy Bell for making this magic happen, and truly making this a beautiful time of year.

Please Note: Photographs of children have not been submitted for their privacy.  Thank you for your understanding.
