This is a tremendous award for a team who has overcome a ton of adversity this season. We can’t wait to get there.”

“On behalf of our President, Dr. Sidney McPhee, I am honored and above excited about accepting a bowl invitation from the Bahamas Bowl,” Director of Athletics Chris Massaro said in a news release. “This will be our second trip to the Bahamas Bowl and our experience was second to none at a place that is truly paradise.”

The Blue Raiders won four of their final six games to even their record to close the regular season.

Ah Yes, the famous Bahamas Bowl. The worst post season Bowl in College Football. There are more people on the sidelines than in the stands. TV cameras crop their shots so as to not show a stadium that is 99% vacant. A waste of time and money. Nothing to be proud of here. MT would be better off holding a practice with Oakland High. More people would show up.
@Sneaky Pete, At least McPhee gets a free trip home.
Michelle....Yeah. Isn't that ironic? Let's ad in AD Chris Masoro (estimated salary $450,000) Rick Stockstill (estimated salary $750,000) peeing all over themselves in the media like they are in the 4 team playoff or playing in the Rose Bowl. Are their jobs on the line? They should be. Just like McPhee's should be. Pittiful. Pittiful all 3.
They deserve a vacation after Stockstill's 50-50, 16-year career.
