Four charged for 2016 shooting death of Donte Johnson

The Murfreesboro Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit’s ongoing investigation into the in the March 18, 2016, homicide of Donte Johnson has resulted in multiple arrests, according to a press release.

Those arrested have been charged with First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Tampering with Evidence, False Reports to an Officer and Accessory After the Fact.

Those arrested are:

Cassius Dominque Ivory, 24, of Humboldt, Tenn., charged with First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery. Currently being held on $250,000 bond.

Ardie Sherrill Bradley Jr., 25, of Chattanooga, Tenn., charged with First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery and Tampering with Evidence.

Martravous Dejuan Broadnax, 24, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., charged with Tampering with Evidence and False Reports to an Officer. Currently being held on $75,000 bond.

Christopher Deundrea McLilly, 23, of Humboldt, Tenn. charged with False Reports to an Officer and Accessory After the Fact. Currently being held on $75,000 bond.

Ivory, Broadnax and McLilly are being held at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department following their arraignment on Dec. 4, 2017. Bradley is currently in the Davidson County Jail on unrelated charges.

According to the police report, Johnson was found dead behind Vie at Murfreesboro, 1345 Wenlon Dr. near MTSU campus. Johnson had apparently died from gunshot wounds.
