Rutherford Health Department moves COVID-19 testing & vaccination location back to Burton Street

Rutherford County Health Department will be changing its vaccination and testing site beginning Monday, June 28. The COVID-19 vaccination site will be moving from State Farm Operations back to the Rutherford County Health Department, located at 100 W. Burton St. in Murfreesboro.

“In an ongoing effort to maximize outreach and access, Rutherford County Health Department will continue to work with members of churches, community groups, community events, facilities, and businesses to bring COVID-19 vaccinations to offsite locations,” said Public Health Department Director LaShan Dixon. “Working together, we can provide the COVID-19 vaccine to those who need it most.”

Beginning Monday, June 28, COVID-19 vaccinations will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the rear conference room. COVID testing will also take place at the Rutherford County Health Department in the rear parking lot. Drive-up testing is by appointment only from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. To schedule an appointment, call 615-898-7880. Additionally, self-test kits can be picked up 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.
