Republic Services has donated $18,000 for the construction and installation of a new scoreboard at Middle Tennessee Christian School. Representatives from Republic will be recognized between the first and second quarters at MTCS' home football game Friday, Oct. 25. The gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m.

"We are proud to support Middle Tennessee Christian School and continue our investment in the community," said Jeremy Jernigan, general manager of Republic's Middle Point Landfill. "Being a good neighbor is important to everyone on our team. This project was important for not just the student-athletes, but the entire MTCS community, and we're happy to see it come to life."

The new scoreboard is the latest improvement to the stadium. Head coach Fred Shambaugh has led the football program since 2014. The team will face off against Mount Juliet Christian Academy this evening.

"We are very grateful for the generosity of Republic and their investment in our athletic program at Middle Tennessee Christian School," said MTCS president Matt Tiller.
