Sunday Lunch at The Gathering at Milton

MILTON, Tennessee – An excited crowd of nearly 80 people enjoyed eating a Southern Sunday Lunch in an historic 120-year-old former country store building here on Sunday afternoon, July 21.

"If you want to eat good food like your grandmother cooked and not have to help with doing the dishes, this is the place to come," Ron Crabtree said about the menu served for the special event. It was the first time for Ron and Judy Crabtree to visit the Gathering at Milton.

Smiling faces of all ages gathered to eat a home-cooked meal catered by Carolyn Miller and see the vintage black-and-white photos displayed on the walls of The Gathering at Milton, a newly restored event venue. It is located in the heart of this rural community a scenic drive about 20 minutes north of Murfreesboro off of Hwy. 96.

The building was restored after being bought by current owners Phillip and Alanna Vaught at auction in February 2018.
