SmartBank recently announced the hiring of David Scott, who has been named senior vice president, Rutherford County Market Executive. Scott will oversee and lead the bank's efforts in Rutherford County, Tenn.

Scott most recently served as the Murfreesboro City President for Regions Bank. He has nearly 30 years of banking experience which began in 1990 with Norwest Financial in Louisville, Ky. and Indianapolis, Ind.
