Middle Tennessee Electric (MTEMC) contractors are scheduled to conduct work on electrical lines in Murfreesboro at the intersection of Old Fort Parkway (Hwy. 96) and I-24N (Exit 78 A & B).

This work will consist of two pole change outs which includes three circuits.

Beginning at 6 a.m., this work will require rolling roadblocks on I-24 with four planned stops lasting approximately 15 minutes each. The work will be completed on Sunday, weather permitting.

Law enforcement and traffic control will assist with the rolling roadblocks, stopping traffic so the work can quickly and safely be performed by MTEMC contractors.

Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperative providing electricity to more than 229,000 residential and business members in Williamson, Wilson, Rutherford and Cannon counties.
