The Book of Nehemiah shares the first-hand account of one servant who changed the landscape of a community through persistent prayer and action.

Nehemiah’s leadership is of course under constant study and different points and patterns have been the focus of many a Bible teacher.

The word prayer is found in the book of Nehemiah at least eight times, while the word "remember" is also, located in this book at least six times. Nehemiah approached the Lord in prayer at least fourteen times in this his signature book.
