Redstone Federal Credit Union will break ground on its flagship Tennessee branch office at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 5 at 2404 Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro.

The $10 million, approximately 26,000 square foot facility will consist of a retail branch, office space, call center, and a Community Room and Terrace on its top floor. Its location will add to the ‘live, work, shop, dine’ appeal of the 31-acre development nearby -- the Fountains at Gateway.

“Once this facility is complete, it will be Redstone’s third location in Murfreesboro. It further shows that we are fully invested in Rutherford County and will continue to grow with this wonderful community,’’ said Joseph Newberry, Redstone’s President and CEO.

“We invite the community to come out and celebrate with us,’’ Newberry said.

Redstone’s other Murfreesboro branches are located at 1749 South Rutherford Blvd., and 1141 Fortress Blvd. Its first branch opened in Murfreesboro in 2011.

Redstone was named ‘best bank’ in Alabama last year by Money Magazine and was recently awarded Credit Union of the Year by NAFCU (National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions).
