The Power of Prayer is The Equalizer (Part Two)

In 2018, we don’t need to activate something! In 2018, we ain’t got time to turn up on nothing! In 2018 we don’t need to eliminate, annihilate, obliterate or terminate anyone!

What we need to do in 2018 is rekindle a thing. What we need to do in 2018 is to reignite a thing. What we need to do is set fire to a thing sitting on the tracks like a boxcar without a destination.

What we need to do is set fire to a thing standing on the tracks like a boxcar without cooperation. What we need to do is set fire to a thing walking on the tracks like a boxcar without communication. What we need to do is set fire to a thing laying on the tracks like a boxcar without a connection.

The Equalizer of pride, position, prejudice, poverty, prosperity, and privilege is the power of prayer.

So, now that we know what the power of prayer is. We need to remember what the power of prayer is not. Remember earlier when we talked about back in the day? You know, we just love to talk about back in the day. Remember we mentioned the one thing which remains the same? Just like back in the day one still has to navigate the physical portion of the test with an officer in the vehicle, and he is no back seat kind of officer. Remember we talked about the fact that, here in America, the DMV officer sits in the right-hand seat of the vehicle while you navigate the course, well, that officer has a name. Who else do we know that sits in the right-hand seat? Who else do we know exists with more than one name? Yes, I am speaking of Jesus, God’s one, and only son.

John says that “if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

As a matter of fact, He is also the Captain.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Hebrews 2:10 (KJV)

As a matter of record, He is the Chief.

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Ephesians 2:20 (KJV)

As a matter of record, He is the Counselor.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

As a matter of record, He is our Consolation.

And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. Luke 2:25 (KJV)

As a matter of record ... He is the Commander.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader, and commander to the people. Isaiah 55:4 (KJV)

He sits in on the right hand of The Father.

Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Romans 8:34 (ESV)

The vehicle we now refer to as The Equalizer. The power of prayer is The Equalizer.

And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13).

The Equalizer moves us from here to there.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you (John 15:7)

Our licensed to navigate this prayer vehicle is a right relationship with the one and only.

Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full (John 16:24).

We’ve been vehicle hopping and shopping for decades. We will lease a vehicle for a while then turn it back in. Now, they've made it where we don’t even have to commit. Now, we can also rent a vehicle for a day. Now, a super easy way to purchase a vehicle without a price is called Tote The Note. That’s right for a small down payment we can navigate a Tote The Note. The Good News is a license to navigate your very own vehicle of prayer is a right relationship with the one and only. You ain’t got to ask nobody for permission! You ain’t got to post it on FaceBook! You ain’t got to send it to Instagram. You ain’t got to reduce it to 140 characters to tweet it on tweeter.

The Good News is prayer is a standard shift type of vehicle, which moves us from here to there. And we can use this very vehicle to reset our destination as we cooperate, communicate and connect to the only one that really matters in this our one life.

The Equalizer of pride, position, prejudice, poverty, prosperity, and privilege is the power of prayer.

May God be the glory in your everyday story of this little big thing we call life.
