Thank you Michelle Willard! It's about time someone called out the pitiful pandemic response from our elected employees . Do you jobs or get out of the way and let someone else do it.
You know I’m sure if we put scales in front of all fast food in town we could really reduce death by heart disease. I also propose 15mph city wide speed limits.
Sarcasm aside mandating ANY “health” policies are a slippery slope. The residents didn’t VOTE for that. That being said I don’t mind masks at all, and after the first unconstitutional “mandate” expired, 90-95% of people in situations where you couldn’t distance were wearing masks.
You still can’t force anyone to wear one. My body, my choice?
FYI: It's in the Tennessee State Constitution that the governor can enact any measures to protect public health. The 10th Amendment (The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.) allows for the states to control public health. So ... it is Constitutional.
Not sure how my post made me a Covid denier? Did I deny it anywhere? What a nice straw man.
Michelle Willard- by applying your copy/paste logic, quarantine camps for separating family members without consent could also be viewed “constitutional “
Ketron shows some sense and reimposes the mask mandate, effective Thursday
